Visit the museum

The Van Gogh Village Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. During school holidays and in the months of July and August, we are also open on Monday afternoons from 13:00 to 17:00.

A ticket provides gives you to the Van Gogh Village Museum, Vincent's Light Lab, and our temporary exhibition. There are different prices for children, students, and adult visitors.

Nuenen is located close to Eindhoven and is easily accessible by car, bicycle, and public transport. Read on for detailed information regarding parking in the immediate vicinity and bus routes, among other things.

The museum is all about Vincent's life in Nuenen, his quest for light, colour and perspective that resulted in his first masterpiece 'The Potato Eaters' and the relationships he had with family, friends and students in Nuenen. There is always a temporary exhibition on show.

Young visitors can discover the museum using the ‘In search of Vincent’ discovery trail and while listening to a children's audio tour. The museum is very interactive, especially in Vincent's Lightlab. During every school holiday we organize extra children's activities.
